Stupid Husband....ARG!

(started this post Monday morning just forgot to put it up)

SOOOOO....

Liz and I decide to do a shoppers trip and grab some coffee...

Bob asked me to remember to pick up a pack of cigarettes for him.

Being the loving and dutiful wife that I am I pick up said pack of cigarettes for him whilst out gallivanting with Liz. (a totally unselfish and loving wife too if I do say so my self!)

ALL OF A SUDDEN .... CHERRIES IN THE REAR VIEW!!!! "This has to be some kind of mistake" I say to Liz. She replies "wow, not speeding, totally normal driving WTH???"

I pull over, roll down the window and turn off the truck.

He flashes his flash light into the back of the truck (incase I was smuggling illegal immigrants or cocaine... :D ) The rookie walked up to my window asked me for my paperwork. I gladly handed it to him.

Then the question of the day pops up: "Do you know why I pulled you over this evening ma'am?" I almost smacked him for calling me that, instead I kept my composure and decided not to assault the officer. I answered with "actually now that you mention it NO!" He then explains that the tag for my plate is expired... I was like no way I would have taken care of it. He assured me that it was expired. Then I was like hey, the truck is in my husbands name, and his birthday passed a month ago, and we had alot of shit going on then so we might have forgoten about it.

He went back to his car and proceeded to write me a ticket. (or so I thought)

He came back and presented me with what I thought was one ticket. He then instructed me to get the renewal tag completed asap, and file to fight the ticket in court. I said thank you and wished him a good night.

I got Liz and I a coffee.

I dropped her off and proceded to go home.

I told the husband about it and he said not to worry .

So.... Bob gets home early from work today.

He changes, and we together head to the Ministry to get new tags, and change our address information on our paperwork.

SURPRISE AGAIN!

$198 in parking tickets that need to be paid BEFORE... anything else happens.

So I throw them on to my visa.

Then the lady informs me that the truck needs to go through emissions testing.

(another $40 ... if nothing else goes wrong.)

In order to avoid any further tickets I needed to purchase a trip permit. ($15. dollars)

then when I return to the ministry to show them the truck passed emissions testing I then have to pay $78.00 for the ticket and $60.00 for the new fucking personal vehicle tax that you have to pay every year....

WTF???

Just shoot me now!

So emissions went well, all is good. Sticker cost 78.00 and tax on it was $60.00. Now all is good in the hood right?!??!!!
I guess we'll see.

The Bobster still needs to sign the new ownership. (Let's see how long this takes)
And I still need to set a court date. (We'll see how that goes.)
