Productivity...

... It's a funny thing isn't it? I mean right now I am obviously not being productive, but no one here would think that I was wasting time posting on my blog. They would probably think that I was getting some important email from one or more of our partners.

Mind you I suppose I have been productive. I sent off the changes that we need for our site, I updated our facebook group, I posted a tweet for the company, I filed, I quoted, I've inquired, I've researched, I've dealt with angry people, and I just had an awesome lunch!

I guess, one persons productivity might be another's lazy day... Every thing is relative I'm sure.

Now if only I could figure out a way to sleep on my desk and pass it off as work! :D

Why...

... Am I sick again? It's ridiculous. I got over my cold and was doing
just fine, but now it's back!
Bob is ill again and I think he passed it back to me. I feel like
death and I'm working today, I couldn't call in because my boss is on
vacation and one of my work mates is off for the next couple of days
due to a course she had to take.
If I were to take a picture of myself right now I'd scare the crap out
of you!
I think I might just kill Bobby.

Seriously... I've been so busy today that I almost didn't realize the

New Twitter Application Tweetie from AppStore.
I've seen the ads for it in Twitter, and I've even gone so far as to check out their site.
At first I have to say that I'm not even remotely interested in paying for Applications, but after taking another look at this Apps page and it's features, I'm starting to think that it may be a good purchase.
Am I crazy?

Has any one used this app and if so ... Well... How is it??? Is it worth purchasing?

This comes after the months of using TWO Twitter Apps just to get all the functionality that I want.

TwitterFon vs. Twitterific

Over the past couple of months I've been using both Twitterfon, and Twitterific on my iPhone to read and update Twitter posts.
I have to say if I had to choose only of the two it would be a hard decision to make.
Although they have the same basic functionality I find that I enjoy some of the features more than others.
TwitterFon is a free App from the App Store. The choice of colour makes the Tweets easy to read, not a whole lot of eye straining going on. Composing Tweets, adding photo's and referencing friends is really easy.
I love the fact that at the bottom of the page there are little notification bubbles telling you how many tweets have been posted, how many responses you have and even how many DM's you get.
Awesome platform and easy to use.
Twitterific is also a free App and can be found along with other Twitter Apps in the App Store.
The theme is dark, black background, with light coloured text. Sometimes easy to read but not always. The tweets load on start just like TwitterFon, but you don't know how many posts have been made since your last visit, and you don't know if you've had any responses untill you scroll through all the Tweets.
Responses are a different colour so you can pick them out of the crowd.
Responding in Twitterific is only slighly more involved but the added features are awesome.
The one feature that I love most is the "Add map link to your Tweet". Sometimes I want people to know where I am when I'm posting. This is not available on TwitterFon.
My only peve where Twitterific is concerned is the Ad content, I know it's how the developers make money, but I don't want to see it.

If I could Combine the Two I would. I would absolutely get rid of the Adds, and keep the format of TwitterFon, and would keep the map link from Twitterific. If I could add a feature to both it would be to have the ability to personlize the theme. Sometimes I like the dark background, and sometimes I don't.

I know I'm strange but what can I say.
Check them out and see what's best for you.

iHeroes theme...

In this screen I don't have alot of icons so it gives you a better
idea of how it looks.

So this is the basic view. It's not anything crazy but it works. There
aren't any special goodies ... Like no text screen or dialer... No
special lockscreen sounds ... But it still cool I guess.

Week End Updates:

Ok... So Saturday was one hell of a nutty day:
Went grocery shopping,
Went to the butcher shop.
Drove around a bit, did some banking.
Went to a friends house,
when to my parents house.
Had dinner 1year old Wedding Cake.
Sunday:
Had Lunch at Peggy's,
Waited for Liz and Justin to Show for their Cake Tasting,
Drove to Woodbridge (must always say that with Italian Accent) for the cake tasting,
Ate CAKE AGAIN! lol, ordered Liz and Justin's Wedding Cake.
Had Lunch with Liz and Justin,
Went home for 5 mins, then drove out to see RENE... :D
Wow.
Got to bed passed out slept in.
lol
Got to work early. Thank god.
All in all it was a Busy, weight gaining kinda week end.
Did I mention I saw Lisa on Friday Night and Picked up some Montreal Begels?

Um anniversary kinda... LOL
Bob and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in November but we forgot
to eat the top of our wedding cake.
Tonight when we had dinner at my parents place my mom brought it out
for us.
I'm a little emo. Bob and I enjoyed the cake at the cake tasting, we
enjoyed it at the wedding, and suprise... We enjoyed it today one year
later!
Love you Bob, happy belated cake anniversary!

Potato Skins @ Geory Porgy's

Well even though the tables were wrapped in plastic in this fine
dining establishment the potato skins were as good as the could be.
I mean you can't really screw up this comfort food speciality, but it
was as good as it gets.
The bacon bits were real, an the cheese was really melty!
Good times!

READ .... before you call me to fix stuff... :D

It would seem that at my new position, I must have some how spoiled the staff here by helping them as much as I have with technology.

I get called to fix the time on the desk top, they beg me to fix their email signatures. I get it really I do, but for the love of god, when you receive an email with all the instructions you need to update your software, why can't you just read it???
Even if you call me over, chances are I will have to read it.
There is no way I will know what the email is about, or even how to do what it is instructing you to do because I don't run the same stuff on my desktop...
I just wish that they would read the shit first... that's all... not a lot to ask!


Don't even get me going on when they call me because there was an error message... MAN!
I always ask well what were you doing when you got the pop up...
They always respond with "nothing"...
SERIOUSLY! lol
Thankfully I love it here so it doesn't bother me that much, but it wastes my time... You know?

Diary of a Mad Black Woman

I'm at home today and I am watching this movie and it's moved me to
tears... I don't know if it's the PMS talking or not but I'm a sobbing
mess.
There is one scene in particular where an abusive horrible man comes
to the realization that he is horrible, and that he was mean and needs
to change. He appologizes. In that moment I was pretending that he was
all the people who've hurt me in the past and that they were
appologizing to me for real.
I know that the people who hurt me in past did such disgusting things
to me that they wouldn't be caught dead appologizing.. So I have to
pretend.
It's my psuedo closure. I'll keep trying to see it that way and maybe
one day all the hurt will go away.

Cool ikea stuff.

Bob,peggy and I went to ikea just to see if we could get some good
storage ideas when we saw this incredible wall unit. Of course we
would have to scale down the height some what. We think we could take
one set of the glass storage units out. That would fit our condo well.
It would cost 1400 for the stuff we need 70 for delivery and if we
hire some one to put it together and mount it to the wall for us it's
going to cost 15% of the total plus 15 for every wall mount they
use... I laughed at the guy as he told me that. I think I was so
bitchy to him... Pmsing at ikea, what could be better.

25 Random.... Blah Blah...

Ok so I have been tagged in a MILLION "25 Random Things You Don't Know About Me" Posts.
I am not even remotely sure this is information that I want to divulge to the general public.
I can't even begin to imagine how long it took people to compile their list!
I think it would take me like a week to put together that kind of info, and I would have to post each thing in a separate post so that I would give it the adequate room and description that each one of them would need.

I don't know if I am going to partake in this random personal posting or not, I have yet to consider all the possible fall out.

I might just post lighthearted bullshit.
