Productivity...

... It's a funny thing isn't it? I mean right now I am obviously not being productive, but no one here would think that I was wasting time posting on my blog. They would probably think that I was getting some important email from one or more of our partners.

Mind you I suppose I have been productive. I sent off the changes that we need for our site, I updated our facebook group, I posted a tweet for the company, I filed, I quoted, I've inquired, I've researched, I've dealt with angry people, and I just had an awesome lunch!

I guess, one persons productivity might be another's lazy day... Every thing is relative I'm sure.

Now if only I could figure out a way to sleep on my desk and pass it off as work! :D

Why...

... Am I sick again? It's ridiculous. I got over my cold and was doing
just fine, but now it's back!
Bob is ill again and I think he passed it back to me. I feel like
death and I'm working today, I couldn't call in because my boss is on
vacation and one of my work mates is off for the next couple of days
due to a course she had to take.
If I were to take a picture of myself right now I'd scare the crap out
of you!
I think I might just kill Bobby.

Seriously... I've been so busy today that I almost didn't realize the

New Twitter Application Tweetie from AppStore.
I've seen the ads for it in Twitter, and I've even gone so far as to check out their site.
At first I have to say that I'm not even remotely interested in paying for Applications, but after taking another look at this Apps page and it's features, I'm starting to think that it may be a good purchase.
Am I crazy?

Has any one used this app and if so ... Well... How is it??? Is it worth purchasing?

This comes after the months of using TWO Twitter Apps just to get all the functionality that I want.

TwitterFon vs. Twitterific

Over the past couple of months I've been using both Twitterfon, and Twitterific on my iPhone to read and update Twitter posts.
I have to say if I had to choose only of the two it would be a hard decision to make.
Although they have the same basic functionality I find that I enjoy some of the features more than others.
TwitterFon is a free App from the App Store. The choice of colour makes the Tweets easy to read, not a whole lot of eye straining going on. Composing Tweets, adding photo's and referencing friends is really easy.
I love the fact that at the bottom of the page there are little notification bubbles telling you how many tweets have been posted, how many responses you have and even how many DM's you get.
Awesome platform and easy to use.
Twitterific is also a free App and can be found along with other Twitter Apps in the App Store.
The theme is dark, black background, with light coloured text. Sometimes easy to read but not always. The tweets load on start just like TwitterFon, but you don't know how many posts have been made since your last visit, and you don't know if you've had any responses untill you scroll through all the Tweets.
Responses are a different colour so you can pick them out of the crowd.
Responding in Twitterific is only slighly more involved but the added features are awesome.
The one feature that I love most is the "Add map link to your Tweet". Sometimes I want people to know where I am when I'm posting. This is not available on TwitterFon.
My only peve where Twitterific is concerned is the Ad content, I know it's how the developers make money, but I don't want to see it.

If I could Combine the Two I would. I would absolutely get rid of the Adds, and keep the format of TwitterFon, and would keep the map link from Twitterific. If I could add a feature to both it would be to have the ability to personlize the theme. Sometimes I like the dark background, and sometimes I don't.

I know I'm strange but what can I say.
